Sorry for numptie questions - but would it also work with our 3-phase supply?

Purely an assumption, but Bobby Llewelyn has 3phase, as I remember an episode where he used a BEV small excavator to cut trenches for the 3phase install.

But on that subject, I was wondering the same for my sister, as she had 3phase installed, and has a 3phase inverter. I said it wasn't yet worth getting a battery, when the 10kWp PV went in 2yrs ago, but maybe it's now viable. So I'm also interested.

Plus how would it work, would they absorb the excess from all 3phases, then resupply on the phase that needs it, in which case, it would help to balance out the PV if one phase was demanding a lot, but the others were in excess ...... does that make any sense at all?

Edit - Been doing some Googling, and no, they aren't 3phase, but you can put one on a chosen phase, or get 2 or 3, to cover more/all phases.

My understanding is that one does not get the best of 3ph if one unbalances the phases. ? but perhaps that is still better than single ph ?

Looks like Powerwall 3 is now a thing.
Slightly smaller enclosure, inverter integrated into the unit.

13.5kWh of energy - seems the same capacity
11kW inverter - that's double the power output?

Looks like my suspicions are correct then, and the PWII price cut is to clear stock?

DOH!!!!!

Prices have jumped up to £6k Powerwall and £900 for the Gateway.

Tesla's 'dynamic pricing' policy at it's best/worst.
