94.3% cf without any post day adjustment. Yesterday's grid power paid for and 1.3% also into the VB. What a day!

Three consecutive import days for me, but yesterdays Ripple Graig Fatha generation alone almost equalled it with 67.88 kWh. Thats before the 3.6x price difference between my IO import at 7.5p / kWh and my rebate price at 27p / kWh.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated

Plenty more of that, thank you! We just cracked 60kWh for the day. There haven't been many days like that sat all.AE-NMidlands wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 8:03 amnow revised to 95.9% Together with yesterday, the month's CF has crept up to 0.19...

A short interview with Thomas Mueller, Construction Manager of Enercon on the Kirk Hill project.

It was good to hear him talking about fitting out the inside, decent teams and looking forward to getting off site! I wonder if they are onto turbine 3 yet? I wish we had someone local with a drone!
There's also an indication there on how long to put the rest up. 'Interior Cabling crew arriving in a fortnight or so'. Can expect half the farm to be up by then?

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?
I guess it depends on the weather and if the storm (Agnes if it develops) crashes in to us with the force the papers are shouting about. That said I just took a look at the Met office Radar for Wednesday and instead of the 80mph gusts all I was seeing forecast was 47mph for my area which is pretty normal so maybe the storm track is shifting northward or better still the low pressure is dissipating quicker than previously thought ?
Really exciting to see the first turbine up though and will be even better when it is joined by some of its siblings
Out of curiosity when do you think we will get access to the kirkhill dashboard ? As a newbie to wind farms I am looking forward to being able to look over the dashboard to familiarise myself with the information it shows etc.

I imagine there is a lot of slack in the actual erection schedule to allow for the weather, but that you can start the cabling a lot later as they can work uninterrrupted, hopefully getting to no. 8 just as they catch up the erection team.

For GF it was once officially on. The pre between for KH say Jan to end March unlikely to see that. I hope for all the new onboarders that they launch insights straight away. It really is excellent.Moxi wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 9:52 am I guess it depends on the weather and if the storm (Agnes if it develops) crashes in to us with the force the papers are shouting about. My prediction is finishing Turbine 3 now, 5 weeks to go until all up. That's mid Oct for the hard stuff being complete?
