Grag Fatha's unseasonal productions is doubtless a welcome bump on stats of all kinds...

But, how does the whole unseasonal weather across europe & beyond play on your minds as to turbulent uncertainties & once the heatwave is over "forgetful minds" (as is normal)

How fast will they say "one in one hundred years anomaly"? ..before someone brings the facts together as to how many, how beyond the curve this all is on an updated chart?

Just how far beyond the low month stats is logged & looked at retrospectively is where we will begin to see I guess.

Is the MET weather office the type that would take instruction to tone weather descriptions down do you think? (well there is enough criticism of the bbc stooging to WHOEVER is in power)

This W/E has been been 100% clean non FF leccy. ie if we had not been exporting and not curtailing wind we could have switched off the gas. This is not the first time and will become more.

Its very windy over here too Nowty, the weather is excellent for turbines today but solar is rather mute as we have Cirostratus and Altocumuls giving the overall effect of early evening lighting levels.

Still its not bucketing down with rain yet, that's coming later apparently

We’ve got the rain in Somerset, though it’s nowhere near the amount or intensity of that predicted for further north.

No appreciable wind either.

My mum is making hay while the wind blows and is drying another set of sheets in the strong wind.

Wind has been plentiful last couple of days. Almost zero (under 1kWh) across the lot yesterday. Today has a glimmer to it. Starting soc of 23% ending in 49% maybe 50% with a tailwind. Amazing how quickly our expectations/hopes transform?

This is kinda cool to me. Running home for under a quid a day on overnight charge to SH's, HWT for 2 hours and a 1 hour boost to home stack SOC.

Said to No1, use the place but don't take the piss. As long as GF kicks out an average of 4kWh plus per 24hr cycle we owe nothing, No1 gets to live free and just maybe there'll be another 1% into that VB by the time we get home? As I've said before, I REALLY like the shoulder months. I've always liked playing in the marginal places.

Just watching the news with all the dafties that were advised to evacuate and didn’t and had to be rescued by the coast guard/ other EM services

Putting the lives of the emergency services at further risk.

The news always finds a moron for an interview too..

Darwinian slow reaction does tend to cull the low hanging fruit. Sorry to their people, sad times to say the least. :(

It does focus the mind on a bit of future prepping.

My long term garage reroof is top of the list, thankfully the temp 3 year tarpaulin lasted!
