This is revolting. I'm sorry, there's no other word for it.
It's a PHEV with a quite staggeringly large 38kWh battery in it which can get only 50 miles on pure EV mode. That battery is big enough for the Ioniq to have gone 200 miles at least.

They don't seem to confess as to the weight of this monster either.

I think the sooner JLR goes bust the better.

My similarly-sized XC-90 PHEV got 20 (real world) miles on its 11kWh battery!
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

OK chaps, it's naff & useless but the real test will be..

Does it dodge London traffic charges or attract them? (new regs)
That is going to affect sales (london not the only area of congestion / ulez charges for consideration as it is an earner the others are pondering including little Cambridge.

However if it is the only fact prospective owners garner what battery does in a car then it will skew reality based on trying to move a mammoth of a car & comparisons made ..too late in their lease plan to do owt about & detrimental to the reality of battery.

It was with much joy I saw a Landy with a snorkel covered in fresh mud a few days ago, ..driven as per design, not a chelski tractor.

I learned to drive in a 2 door Range Rover many many years ago and love Landrovers but I've not looked at any of their new stuff since they brought out the discovery.
