Best not to push it with SWMBO!nowty wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 5:11 pmIt would fit but would take up too much room around the picnic table, I'm on very thin ice with SWMBO as it is. I was going to leave the gap under the panels to allow items to me more easily be moved in and out of the ladder store but SWMBO wants it covering, no debate.
I think a compromise might be some sort of a removeable cover.
The solar table is also getting short shrift, she first liked the photo but only as a photo with the octopus, not as a serious idea.
A hook on panel would fit the bill.

+1 for that idea.Moxi wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 7:38 pm Vertical mount under the end two panels in landscape on hinges, sunny days or when not in the garden swing out and up and prop at same angle of dangle as the portrait panels. When in the garden lower to vertical position to close the gap as per SWMBO preference.

Its going to be quite hard to get it to completely line up with the others but I will give this some serious thought.
I might be able to frame it in a wood surround.

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
It was far easier than I had envisaged.
A few moments of "feck" after I cut the packaging, drop one onto the front of house whilst grabbing the other.
Took 3 short hops to the potting shed or is it now the bike shed.
Normally I'm swearing at this point but how easy was that.
They are Jinko 430W panels, and this tune was playing in my head whilst I was fitting them,
Makes a tune in my head, whilst installing.
Jinko’oooo, jinko ha ha, jinko ha ha.
Well it sounds similar,
