Well despite not being able to get home to actually do any proactive saving, I've still managed to log a reduction vs baseline and apparently saved 0.15kWh - earning me 33p. I'll take it, but it doesn't actually feel "right".

Looks like my strategic 5pm to 6pm peak rate splurge on the 30th Nov has boosted my baseline over 3 consecutive saving sessions.
That has resulted in a slightly higher profit than expected. :)

Gen2 inverters have a charge/discharge of 3300W/3600W - if you were quoted a Gen2 by your installer then get them back and swap it for a Gen2, there have been a number of cases where Gen1's have been passed off as Gen2's.

Gen1 inverters start the serial number with SD
Gen2 inverters start the serial number with ED

I will take a look now.

Edit : it’s a Gen 1
Does your original quote specify a Gen2 that was to be installed?

What battery and inverter set up have you got as I note you can export at 5 kWh, which is handy for exporting on this tariff and savings sessions.
Spoke to my installer yesterday and he is having a bit if a mare as his supplier used an intermediary to source my inverter. So there are 4 parties involved, no question that a gen 2 was ordered but the supplier in the middle is being awkward.
It will get resolved but taking longer than I hoped. Will also add another 9.5kwh battery at the same time.

Hi,

I have twin 5kW Gen3 Givenergy hybrid inverters, a 9.5kWh battery on each - this actually allows me to pump out a max of around 7.2kwh to the grid. Also looking at adding a further battery to each at some point, especially with the new 0% VAT incentive from February next year.

Do we think there's going to be another last minute savings session tonight? Anyone know?
