Cheers Ian!

The game is name the roi figure for Graig Fatha to a single decimal point for midnight on 28th Feb 2024. In addition and at no extra cost, have a crack at guessing the next years per kWh figure paid by Octopus on Graig Fatha for the year commencing 1st March 2024. You don't have to own any of it to play.

Competition is open until midnight on the 31st Dec 23. Prize is Kudos and a pint in Ayrshire at KH open day.

John S 52.8% and 6p
Joeboy 53.0% and 11.8p
Krill 53.2% and 7.3p

Ooops, I must have made a cock up somewhere, mine is showing 44.56. Perhaps I'll have to go back and adjust my final figure based on that.

It is Ripple's fault. They show some numbers which are only confirmed generation and some numbers which include estimates.

On the home page, the all time to date view only shows the confirmed generation, usually up to two or three days ago.

Image

If you look at the Dec view, it shows the live total for December, ie all confirmed, complete days estimates and today real(ish) time estimate.

Image

The difference between the two accounts for the difference between Joe's and Adokformes' figures.

Anyway, I have just reached 10MWh confirmed. :xx: :xx:
Belated thanks to everyone on here. Without you I would never have considered Ripple, certainly not in time for GF.

Thanks John_S you've solved the riddle. Seems we were both right. :)

Great Photo's Joeboy, thanks for tour of the estate. I'm impressed with so many solar panels too and the lack of thawing on the roof around the WBS chimney. It must be very well insulated. The roof, that is.
Afraid no snow here but plenty of wind still and some hazy sunshine in a balmy 11 degrees C!
PV pumping out 2.9 kW's, GF at max. and wind doing all the heavy lifting at 19.66 GW. How lucky are we. :)

GF might be on for a day PB either today or tomorrow and looks likely to end the month on a PB too.
16.9kW PV > 107MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 22MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

11 degs, nice! We have 28W coming in off of 10kW+ pv. Makes me very grateful for GF. There have been very few days where we couldn't get a shake out of one of them! WT, PV, IO or WBS.
