Sofar me3000sp
Re: Sofar me3000sp
Believe France is the same, the MK2PV diverter is now a French product and the software works for French meters and is different from the code used in UK for that reason.
Re: Sofar me3000sp
It wasn't the code.
I tried all the different ways e.g. burst, PWM, etc of switching, but none worked. I even then made a set up using low wattage bulbs on SSR's switched on and off by an Arduino. One as import and one as export and it made no difference how many seconds / milliseconds they were on and off for, the meter always measured the import as import.

Re: Sofar me3000sp
I've got a single ME3000; about 5 years old now I guess.
The draw is near as to zero as I can get it.
The secret is to a) ensure you've frozen the CT direction and b) use the calibration setting to alter the value shown it until the unit matches your actual measurement of the import/export (I use the Open Energy Monitor kit).
A quick search showed this page - https://www.setfirelabs.com/building-au ... -inverters with instructions.

Re: Sofar me3000sp
Hi all
I have a code coming up every 3-4 minutes now when force charging at night on one of my me3000sp inverters
The two inverters are set the same in there settings
But one is throwing up a code number 105
I Can't suss this out
Any ideas anyone
Many thanks
Grumpy

Hi all
Got that wrong the inverter code getting thrown up every few minutes is ID05
Says the battery voltage is to high
Any ideas

Re: Sofar me3000sp
How have you got the batteries set up?
One stack or one stack on each?

I have two stacks of batteries on each inverter
Re: Sofar me3000sp
When charging can you detect any temperature rise on the
cables / fuses / plugs / sockets / isolation switches / battery cell links / cell connection bars. fitted between the battery and the Sofar Me3000 sp.
Have you checked all the cell terminal bolts are tight. Not over tightened / stripped since installing the cells.
What size / diameter are the cables. ?

Re: Sofar me3000sp
ID05 is too high voltage on battery, interrogate the BMS and get the multi-meter out and check. It may be one cell is going over voltage and the BMS is alarmed.
Re: Sofar me3000sp
If Mr Grumpy has got two banks of 16 LFP04 cells in parallel charged by the Sofar Me3000sp.
One cell in one bank going high voltage should not unbalance the system.
It will just reduce the discharge capacity by 50%
Best to look at the cables / cells / fuses / plugs / sockets with a thermal imaging camera to detect any thermal hot spots.
