I'm hoping to get my state pension within a year (or probably 2) of the end of my FITs so hopefully I wont notice the loss. :xx:

We look on the bright side. Our panels and inverter cost us £15,000, we needed a new inverter at 9 years, we've installed 15 kw of batteries and after the last FIT payment we are £800 in profit and that's without allowing for the 'free' electricity we've used. Currently we charge to a level, depending on the weather forecast, on Off Peak and that sees us through to the next session. Last summer we did not have to charge the batteries and exported some power hence an additional 5 kw battery.
