I've talked this over with my wife. Due to tax considerations we think these co-op models are uninvestible for us in any meaningful sense.

For context two higher rate tax payers with a £10,000 emergency fund paying 5% interest already use half the interest allowance. Add in other general slush funds and it is too close to comfort for any meaningful holding.

I've paid the £25 holding charge, but will probably drop in another £25 to feel invested and watch with everyone else.

Shame, but she still won't let me put solar panels on the pergola to make up for it.

We were asked for an energy bill to prove usage was over 7000kwh.
It was quite handy of octopus to screw up our bill this month.
They have our annual electricity cost estimated at being £200, yet annual usage at being 7957kwh.

We had a smart meter fitted Jan23. The meter is reading 5800kwh, so im grateful for their generous, though strange estimations of usage and cost.
It will go up much higher im sure with batteries to be charged and discharged.
