Thought this might amuse.

Yesterday - last day of April, properly sunny for pretty much the first time this year. Office solar agreed.
But also a very busy day in the studio - full day of filming, and we had 2x EVs on charge during working hours, and looks like we had a public EV charge session start up later in the evening.

Check out the generation curve, and then our consumption stats for the day!
Peaked at 9kW at around 10:45am
70kWh generated
Managed to consume 61kWh of that
But still imported 158kWh over the course of the day!

Although certainly made the most of it.

This was why!

Wonder if the dirt on the panels is costing us lost production?

Yesterday was a nowtyrecord 80kWh here (last one was 78kWh), would have been more but cloud at 4pm stopped play.

You won't be bragging about todays solar though, I've got little over 1kW coming in.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated

Hi Dan, what pitch is that roof? On our ESE side we have the upper roof with largely clean panels at 30d, but below on the low roof and canopy the panels get dirty on the bottom row of cells, at 20d pitch.

I think I recall the EST suggesting that panels in the UK don't need proper cleaning if pitched at 25d+, thanks to UK weather (rain!)

I'm not sure - it's a bit more shallow than a regular domestic roof though

Had a great Sunday, new record of 97.9 kWh, if it had been a bit cooler possibility of breaking three figures.
