EDF submits its proposals for 4x EPR1200s for the Czech power sector.
These would be "Version 2s" of the EPR design being built at HPC - lower output but apparently much simpler and cheaper to build.

Flamanville unit 3 should be being fuelled up at the moment and hot commission mid 2024, original price 3.1 billion, current estimated out turn costs 13.5 to 19.4 billion depending on what you read and where, so maybe the 22.46 billion is realistic ?

no doubt someone has picked up on this.

"In January 2024, EDF announced that it estimated that the final cost could rise up to £46 billion in 2024 prices and be delayed by up to three years."

£46B and we still want to build more !

EDF receives regulatory approval to start fuel loading at Flamanville 3. How long does it take? I guess an abundance of caution for the first load-up?

About a month to load the 241 fuel assemblies.

Wow that long? So they might start actual power generation by when, July perhaps?

Flamanville about to commence start up procedures.
Here's a rather cool drone fly-through of the EPR!

An interesting read from a french publication about Flamanville 3 and its imminent start-up.
Google translate does a good enough job.
