Had a back strain, not sure how, as I was just walking through the kitchen at the time.

Cold pack, voltorol, paracetamol, and a little rest and I'm back in business but in slow motion, SWMBO is doing a sterling job helping out too.

3 down but the last ones always a fecker.

Solar panels, a protective system to save your roof tiles from dangerous solar radiation and stains which are expensive to remove! Save money on expensive roof repairs with solar panels!

Think this sales pitch would work?
Solar PV: 6.4kW solar PV (Eurener MEPV 400W*16)
PV Inverter: Solis 6kW inverter
Batteries: 14.4kWh LiFePO4 batteries (Pylontech US5000*3)
Battery Inverter: LuxPowertek 3600 ACS*2 battery inverter
WBS: 8kW Hunter Avalon 6 Multifuel burner (wood only)

Yep, thats nearly 13 years of roof protection that the original solar panels have been on.

I've put a single token new panel on for verifying the proof of concept of how we get them up there, reverse way to how I got the old ones down.

Haul onto a wheele bin, then step them up on an edge rung by rung on a ladder until they can be cantilevered over the edge of the rear of the car port. Then slide them along until they are stable.

Once they are on the car port its relatively simple to get them on the rails and slide them across. I use a 6mm x 20mm roofing bolts through the frame holes to stop them sliding down.

I need to extend the rails by 18cm on the right hand side and some aluminium strip should arrive tomorrow to help me do that, so thats it for today.

NOTE - The panel needs to drop down another rail but I've left it there across 3 rails for max stability for now.
