IOG schedule issues

#1

Post by Yuff »

Is anyone having an issue getting schedules on Intelligent.
I had an email last week asking me to disconnect and re-connect to intelligent as Tesla have changed the way they allow octopus to interact with Tesla.
I have not done this yet as there have been lots of issues re-connecting by posters on the Tesla foru,
However today the app has stoped giving schedules and says it will produce a schedule when it’s plugged in. It is plugged in and it is controlling the charging but I don’t get a schedule showing :SOS:

I'm still getting schedules and I'm holding off doing the disconnect / reconnect and re-onboarding thing as long as I can because I fear some problems trying to re-connect. So until its broke, I not fixing it.

I've noticed the pull down screen on the app does not seem to force an update anymore, been that way for a few weeks, but if I shutdown the app and turn it on again it shows the update.

The pull down is working again.
Started working today.
I just toggled between devices and usage and it posted. No need to close the app down .

Is anyone having charging issues on IOG.
It seems Tesla and octopus, on our car, have had a tiff and not speaking to each other any more.
I am still getting schedules but the Tesla hasn’t charged during a schedule this week :fight:

I still have not updated but I'm still getting schedules no problem,

But last night which was the first time I had used it in about a week, I got a schedule but it did not start (at least for the first few minutes) so I started it manually. I stopped it manually after midnight by dropping target SOC on the Tesla App which is what I normally do, but this morning the APP is not showing any charging history in the past 12 hours which it normally does.

So I'm not sure if it was a valid session or not. :?

When is your next bill?
Normally a schedule will validate an off peak session.
I have no problem getting schedules but the car hasn’t charged via octopus for several days now.
Normally when the Tesla SOC is set lower than IOG SOC I get a notification but even that isn’t happening now.

Unfortunately I have only just received my last bill, all IOG slots were OK though. So its a full month before I get another.

Are you like me and have not yet updated to the new disconnect / reconnect and gone thorough re-onbording ?

Yep, I haven’t updated the software as it was working fine until this week. Like you I start a schedule and then keep the SOC at 50% for the off peak slots.
I’ll see my bill cost on the 6th and will be able to tell if the schedules are still working from an off peak point of view….. :xx:

I tried it again last night, same issue, I got a schedule but the charge would not automatically start, I decided to leave it for over an hour and it still did not start. Therefore I decided not to risk importing any other leccy until the fixed 23:30 to 05:30 cheapslot started. I note someone else on the facebook forum had a similar issue last night but they did not say which vehicle they had.

I need a full battery for tomorrow so I'm just going to do it manually overnight in the normal cheapslot.
