June capacity factor graph for GF.

Almost on baseline, just a smidge below.

I'm waiting for the KH inaugural numbers.

Image
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated
6 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

They haven't hit a date yet,...ever. I am in no way surprised at them being late to this one either. To idle away moments I had a look at GF the noo. 11mph w/s and outputting about 30% owned capacity.

Knowing that they (the WT's) dont kick in until 6mph w/s or so I'm guessing that at current 16mph w/s around KH site that we'll be seeing around about 50% generation capacity across the KH field. That gives us a theoretical smidge above 3kW generation across both sites while we wait for KH figures to come in. Happy with that thought 😄.

The rest of the time I've been watching the cat.

Update

Prior to your data being on your dashboards later this month, we wanted you to have some site-wide data as an interim measure.

In June, Kirk Hill has generated just over 3,400,000 kWh (or just over 3.4 GWh).

The total amount of carbon saved by Kirk Hill members in June is 1,808,800 kg of CO2 - the same as driving 315 times around the world in an average petrol car!

The turbines have been running well and these generation figures substantially exceed the P50 (i.e. most optimistic yield for June), despite the fact that one or more turbines have almost always been out of operation for their initial 300hr commissioning service. Actual generation and savings figures will be confirmed once we get the metered data through later in July.

From these estimates, every watt owned in Kirk Hill in June generated 0.1892 kWh. Meaning members who own 900 watts (or 0.9 kW) of Kirk Hill would have received approximately 170kWh.

830kWh for me in June from KH. Away to see AC/DC at Wembley this evening. This is a good day. :D

Have you calculated that yourself, or found it somewhere? (and I just hope my bid for a bit more of KH comes to fruition before too long!)

30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,

I obtained the monthly capacity factors from the chief projects officer, they are pukka.

very good... It's nice that it is balancing GF too, as some here predicted.
Keep up the good work!

Even better when DW solar farm goes operational as solar has an inverse relationship with wind.

GF Info but also impacts KH payment date.

"We wanted to get in touch regarding this June's savings, as you would normally expect to see them added to your electricity account at around this time.

As you may know, Kirk Hill, our second wind farm is now live and June was the first month of generation for its members.

Savings are only sent to suppliers once a month and if you hold shares in both Graig Fatha and Kirk Hill, your savings will show on your electricity bill as one combined amount. You will still be able to see the breakdown between the projects on your dashboard.

As this is the first month for Kirk Hill savings, we need to undertake some additional data validation and we also need to include and verify any referral credits. This will take some additional time.

This means that even if you do not hold shares in Kirk Hill, your June savings will not be added to your electricity account until nearer the end of July.

Going forward we expect savings to be added to your electricity account on or around the third week of the month, not the second as has previously been the case. "
