Drove past it last night, however we were in the diesel golf, coming back from holidays.

Good to see it open, it’s near the former NCR

my dad was a computer programmer back in the 60’s there, didn’t see any future in that and changed to social work instead).
It’s now a retail park, you pass through it, as it’s the main road in and out of Dundee called the Kingsway.

I'll be passing on Monday, I'll have a charge on the way through. Been watching its development over the last half year or so. 👏 👏

16 150kW 8 350kW. We hit 100kW charge rate. Nice clean, lots of space. Paid with Octopus card which is loaded from GF generation. I like that! :)

I don't know Dan. Went to the bathroom, came back. Car was saying 100kW charge rate. I'm.not even sure how much SSE were charging or if its a 2 tier system. Rate of speed dictation of price, don't know.

I think the screen should display price. Doesn't seem right that the data isn't there? The 150's at Kinross services display price, power used and total price.

I seem to remember getting 120kW out of a 250kW ionity a couple of years back. I reckon the 150kW will be fine for my needs.

The 350kW is a serious cable with a skyline support on a inertia reel. Massive bit of kit actually.

It was way cool to think that GF WT paid for the drive down along with some home solar. Car is parked up now in Edinburgh and if the losses aren't too bad while we're away I've got enough miles to get me back.home at holiday end. :xl:

Found this on SSE's site.

"We charge a flat amount of 69p per kWh at all our rapid charging stations and 49p per kWh at our fast chargers."

I'll stick with the 150's as the car isn't at a temperature to take advantage of the extra headroom.

Actually, I'll probably stick with the Tesla charging station down the road. It's quieter and in a greener area. The new SSE one is at a very busy roundabout, huge noise and not easy to get out of due to traffic volume from the big Asda. I don't know another city that is as well served for EV charging as Dundee. 👏 👏 👏

It really is excellent.
