I would not be surprised if we get another on Thursday as there will be unseasonably strong winds.

Just checked the numbers on the grid, and at 2pm today there was 8.7GW of solar and 14GW of wind - chuck in another 5.4GW of nuke and you can see just how little space there is left on there for gas at 1.77GW - not sure it can go any lower than that at the moment.

I'm not complaining as it's a laudable action they are carrying out. Does make me wonder if there are regional differences? If there are no regional differences why don't they just sent out one banner islandwide on the app?

I suspect there might be regional constraints yes would make sense.

I've asked the question of Octopus. A good thing for us all to know. Last 2 sessions I had the next event info on my app.

Might just be you tomorrow dan?

It would make sense for them to know what sort of response they could get regionally as well as nationally after all there will be times where a local networks would benefit from increased or reduced demand as well as a national requirements.

I cant imagine there would be too many opportunities in the creaky NW DNO area but who knows?

Don't think the lack of email or otherwise is regional necessarily - I haven't had any emails since the first one, but my wife gets one each time for her son's flat in Newcastle, which is only 25 miles away, so presumably in the same region??

Has anyone had a summary email from the 1st session saying how much they have saved?

Does anyone else see it on the app? I can only see any mention of free electricity when I log in on Chrome on PC or phone, not the app
