I suspect the current UK wind generating record of 21.813 GW may will be broken this winter. :mrgreen:

Let’s hope so and that it doesn’t all just get curtailed due to distribution constraints

Weather forecast for Friday 27th September appears to show strong winds everywhere all at once across the whole of the U.K. and the North Sea.

Could possibly be a new wind record if it doesn’t get curtailed

I think lack of solar generation means no free lunchtime power hour today - wind is up around 16GW though.

This morning wind curtailment up to 3GW and export up to 2GW whilst gas at 3GW :D
