They look good. Approx 10GW of capacity issued. [Apologies for so many edits.]

Onshore wind prices have fallen back a bit from the inflationary highs of last year at £51/MWh v's £52, PV up a bit at £50 v's £47, and off-shore wind has gone up considerably (from the £37 in the round 4 results, but at £59/MWh for 2/3rds of the bids and £54/MWh for the others, still way below the £73 bid max (panic) price that was introduced to ensure bids. [In the R5 auction the bid max was lowered from £46 to £44, despite the Ukraine invasion and cost spiralling, and attracted no bids.]

I see the borrowed parts of both Ripple KH and DW managed to get in at a strike price of 5.09p / kWh and 5.007p / kWh respectively.

Looks to me like solar was a real winner here 3GW at around £50?

Yeah, at first glance it does look like a decent amount of capacity and reasonable prices. Bearing in mind that the auctions are now annual, rather than biennial, so I think it's quite a lot of capacity approved.

Hopefully we'll get some good articles/breakdowns soon explaining how this auction relates to others. There is a Guardian article, which is fine, but I need someone clever(!) to set these results in context.

Just noticed almost all of the off shore wind is English (4.6GW out of 4.9GW). I wonder if that's just a quirk of the round, or relates in some way to grid connection/expansion plans?

Good spot - although alot/most of the new offshore that's been accepted is the Hornsea offshore windfarm rounds 3 and 4 so that explains a lot of it

This is also interesting - frustration regarding the lack of native production for turbines/towers/steel/technology in these bids - which does seem an oversight
