Even though inflation is outstripping the beneficial exchange rate its the Turks I feel sorry for. We were at one of our fave beach restaurants the other night. 2 seafood starters, 2 chicken main dishes, 1 beer for swmbo and 2 for me. £40, compared to UK it is still a win but nothing like the old days (pre covid). The sea was literally lapping at our feet.
