See these alot in the Mediterranean region - simple and effective. By the same token though they don't seem to have a similar embrace of SolarPV for their electricity? Or is there not enough roof space with all the solar hot water systems?!

I guess that as pv is a much higher technology and depends on imports it is nowhere near as attractive financially. The article makes the point that local firms have set up making the basic components and beyond that it's just a couple of hours simple plumbing...
