BEV charger questions

Hi guys, I took the plunge today and purchased a new Hyundai Kona N Line S (I'm a sucker for alcantara, and it was a comfortable size). Car should be coming in November, an unexpected purchase even yesterday morning but a 0% APR deal always gets my attention and I'm coming to the end of the extended warranty on my Audi A4 diesel. Another 65kWh for the "secret" list.

A question for the posters of this forum, is what charger would you recommend? I'm somewhat interested in integration with the solar PV (redirection via discharge limitation) but only on a technical level, I would only implement that if there was a significant change in relation to export payments in the future. I moved over to Cosy a week ago, and whilst 8 hours per day of cheap power makes it easy to run the house it will get complicated to try and charge a car on that schedule (but not impossible). I'm mindful that tariffs can change though, so I'm not interested in paying through the nose for a charger that be integrated with IO Go only for the tariff to become second best three months later.

So how about the show me yours approach?
Solar PV: 6.4kW solar PV (Eurener MEPV 400W*16)
PV Inverter: Solis 6kW inverter
Batteries: 14.4kWh LiFePO4 batteries (Pylontech US5000*3)
Battery Inverter: LuxPowertek 3600 ACS*2
EV: Hyundai Kona 65kWh
WBS: 8kW Hunter Avalon 6 Multifuel burner (wood only)

I asked a similar question a while back and now I have the means to get power under the road to the drive opposite I am going to contact a local company on Monday with a view to having a zappi fitted in line with forum suggestion and my own background reading.

I fitted an Ohme Home Pro charger so I could get on the IOG tariff, it does everything I need and can limit charging if required.
3.87kWp PV
10.24kWp PV SolarEdge system
Tesla Powerwall 2
100 x 47mm Navitron tubes (still being installed!) Now likely to be removed for more PV.

Make sure you either put ultra EV cable in or seperate data/power. Or better still 50mm duct!

I’ve got a 100 mm duct under the road and would be asking for the ultra EV cable. Distance wise from consumer unit to EV charge cover is around 32m.

Cool, make sure they terminate and test the data cable even if it doesn’t get used.

I used the cheapest EV charger money could buy 4 years ago/ dumb as a box of rocks, but that’s what i wanted

I’m happy using the type one set to 6 amps most of the time but in the future we might need more frequent charges so the zappi and ahem IOG seems like a sensible option for the time being.

Honestly just get a Zappi.
There’s a lot of useful tech in them, they’re well designed and reliable, made in the U.K. and they’re one of the good guys in the sector.

Zappi want £90 for a design consultation. The consumer unit is more than 2m off the floor is all I can see as the reason. I'll probably make contact based off the advice but they are already in a hole AFAICT.

Mine has a rotary dial to select 4 different charging currents!
No fancy apps to go offline🤣
