Bet the builder building the new houses behind isn't that happy!

Shocking, a sad one to read. Should have at least had gas monitoring with remote read fitted after the initial find. I wonder what they did with the borehole itself after they hit gas? Can't just pour a half dozen blue circle bags in and call it done. :(

Also makes me wonder about any historical fracking in the area?
