Following my midnight measure up a couple of days ago, City Plumbing have been round again. , this time no pallet, came from a local store and they phoned me to ask if I wanted them a day early.
£66 each for 430W panels and free delivery.
Would like to keep them here at the front of the house as its sunny even in winter but not likely to pass the SWMBO and neighbour tests.

OR make SWMBO a lovely gabion basket raised bed planter and pop the panels on the side with hinges at the top so you can pivot the panels out when its sunny, vertical for when the boss is gardening etc etc its not a solar installation if its something they like doing is it!

I'm two weeks away from two 500 bifacial panels from the same place for my next "venture", I discussed more battery capacity last night with the boss and she was "yeah ok" and then we sat and discussed power usage, future house plans and how the new tariff was working and before I knew it we had both agreed that the battery wasn't as beneficial as extra panels would be so there I was down a battery and up two panels without a clue how it happened women really are cunning aren't they , right I have some ceiling to paint as the wife says I am better at it than she is

It is difficult to justify any upgrades at this end. 1) My teeny battery can get me through the dingiest days because I can reliably get additional IOG cheapslots whenever I need them.
2) Any additional generation is priced at 7 or 15p/kWh which is hard to justify.

New panels now in operational service on the decking area connected to an existing DC charge controller which should now max out in summer.

Todays job was commissioning a temporary setup for Sept to Apr running which surprisingly has SWMBO approval, in fact she said, "can't you get another one in on the end ?"
Yeah, but they are connected to my charge controller in pairs.
Nice easy size and weight to handle and that finishes off my existing solar cable stock and DC charge controller headroom.
These 4 x 315W panels are producing 110W (total) in todays gloom.
They were previously on my decking area and before that my front porch roof, both these areas have since been upgraded.
Had to do another panel audit, now 59 panels and 18.7 kWp operational.
This year my home PV generation is likely to finish over 12 MWh, next year I'm hoping for 14 to 15 MWh.
