Aye, they explained the hanging method! They have been excellent and very much customer needs based. Hence the handmade shoes reference. They hoped to finish in 6 working days but with the 10mm to 15mm and 22mm to 28mm upgrades and pipe insulation it might go beyond.

Wife has one of these, great wee thing. When she first got it I took it up to our neighbours who live up a steep hill, it went up through the snow no problem and came back down, with hill descent switched on, effortlessly.

Thats Jim the ashp guy in the reflection. No1 had Xclimates on the Zoe. It is literally the difference in 15 minutes whether the gritter and plough have been through. This morning it hadn't plus snow drifting onto road. Back wheel is bent, bumper, rear 1/4 both doors are properly creased and not repairable. He is fine which is the main thing. Hard to find a 4WD EV under 30 grand.

We've went for a low mileage Suzuki All grip hybrid. the dealer is putting on a brand new set of xclimates, we collect Saturday. I chose ones with decent feedback from owners. No1 is seriously hacked off, he really liked that car..

I'm a big fan of CrossClimates! Glad he had the correct tyres on.

CrossClimate is an all season tyre that is unreasonably good in snow for those who might not know. I used to swap from summer to winter tyres but the 6-monthly chore came around too quickly and full-winter tyres aren't that good in non-winter conditions. The CrossClimate tyre revolutionised the "all-season" market that'd previously been stocked with tyres that were useful in no conditions.

I hear that nowadays the competitors have upped their game and there are a few good choices...

I've just gone the other way having taken Cross Climates off my TT and replaced them with a full winter tyre. Nothing wrong with CC just we have a fairly sensible law here that says winter tyres must have 4mm of tread to be considered as winter tyres. My CC's last week had 4.2mm so was going to have to replace them anyway. There is a possibility my wife may find herself having to drive with our 18 month old granddaughter while I am working over the winter so the best tyres I can get are fitted.
Given the climate in UK something along the lines of CC's should be standard.
Just to note having used both on a couple of cars the Crossclimate 2 is far superior to the original.
