So given the recent demise of the sessions is it safe to assume octopoints will be earned via different routes or simply phased out ?

You currently get Octopoints from spinning the wheel every month.

And Saving Sessions (SS) will start from Wed 27th November, I expect the sign up to Octopus early next week.

Bingo!

The problem with SS is that they reduce demand during times of high demand and low supply, this removes the opportunity for electricity-generating companies to profiteer. Therefore they were always going to be killed off IMO.

Without SS octopoints don't have much relevance.

Glad to have a power hr ×2. We have about 25kW of panels and are still discharging the batteries and tomorrow looks the same.

We are told that . . . Credits are shown on the "Octoplus Dashboard" ? . . . . which I associate with Octopoints (only).

I would expect to see the Credits appear in the "Bills & Payments" section.

They do appear in the "Bills & Payments" section (strictly, it's under "Balance History")

but as you mentioned it I went looking... There is a separate "Free electricity" tab on the Octopoints page as well.

Thanks, that is clear.

I could understand the same info being presented in two places if there was more detailed calculation on the Octoplus page - but there isn't !
Straight duplication : Why bother ?
