Interesting. I've just seen this:Fintray wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 5:34 pmYes you can according to this earlier post. https://camelot-forum.co.uk/phpBB3/view ... 946#p51946

Which confirms the same.
However if the lat 30 days are typical, Agile Export gives one short window per day when prices are comparable with what we have now...

6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)

Re: Outgoing Octopus
First month since February that Octopus Outgoing has failed to pay for my entire energy bill.
There is still a £10.47 Power Hour credit to add so in the last month my energy cost me £74.42.
But once I've added the Ripple windfarm credit of £65.68 its only £8.74.
And after FITs generation credit of circa £115 the bill is over £100 negative.

I'm not in your league!

Re: Outgoing Octopus
I've started a new winter charge / discharge regime yesterday where I do an intermediate charge using the IOG cheapslot gaming, then have a second bite at the export cherry in the evening before the fixed cheapslot starts.
Almost broke even yesterday,

Re: Outgoing Octopus
I'm not as methodical as all that.
It has been nice to see over 1kW PV generation for which I am grateful. Managing to export a few kWh's per day, 10kWh is a good days export at the moment.
Epic milestone today, Octopus phoned to confirm appointment to remove gas meter (5th Dec).

Re: Outgoing Octopus
2024 Full year review on Octopus Outgoing.
I average 99%+ on cheap rate import, so lets say 1% peak and 99% cheap rate. The rates have moved a a tiny bit over the year but lets take the current values of,
Peak 26.4p / kWh
Cheapslot 7p / kWh
Export 15p / kWh
Daily SC of 62.22p
Total gas bill including SC of £110
Lets ignore the £400 rebate on last years Saving Sessions which are not likely to be repeated.
I make it a total cost of imported gas+leccy+SC's of £1427.
Export rebates totalled £1878 so a net profit of £451.
And of course all my actual home and EV energy use of just over 15000 kWh was all free.
