Bless my wife, I have been down to Nowty land today to walk some pipe routes near Hedge End - awful overcast grey skies while back home it was beautiful sunshine. Left at 2 am and just got back at quarter to seven to a house in almost complete darkness?

I walked in and asked if everything was ok to be told “ yeah of course we are, there’s a saving session on so you have to wait for a hot drink till after 7, mum and dad are sat in the dark too”.

I then had to praise her for her efforts and explain that our baseline was practically zero so at best we may have saved forty to sixty watts ?

I’m genuinely really proud of her and also surprised as it means she does sometimes listen to me spouting on about solar and batteries.

Think I’m going to be buying some flowers tomorrow to show my appreciation- hope you all did ok in you individual endeavours

Agile import price tomorrow is maxed out at 99.9p / kWh for a whole extended peak block from 3:30pm to 7:30pm.

Might be a few more pennies in the NESO kitty tomorrow.

That is mightily impressive and yet I get the opposite, I had to go out at 6.30pm and asked swbmo to turn the heat pumps back up to 53°c , at 7pm, and I got can’t you do it I’ll be eating then. It takes 10 secs…… :head-bang:

tracker is 38p/kWh in our region today - MiL is out most of the day and the solar gain is keeping them off the grid for now thankfully

Another new record. :?

Another DFS session scheduled for tonight 4pm to 7pm, but the difference is that the 6pm to 7pm slot has a lower volume requirement. The bids should come in at between midday and half past.
