Charging became lost last night in the 88% soc band of width that is my battery control. I did say before that I'm more into controlling the now myself rather than relying on others to fail...

88% soc on the Pylontechs has a broad base for power capacity. I can't present a kWh by storage volume percentage but there is an ambiguity in the higher pylontech bms controls. Tbh, our setup slip slides as power moves between banks and settles. The issue is, by how much?

If we do go down the HP route I will install it myself, I can get a 9kW Hitachi a2w HP for a bit less than 3 grand and our heating system is already split into 6 zones so the pipework will more than likely cope, may just need to uprate a rad or two. I have been cranking down the flow temp bit by bit to see how it works, so far at 45 degrees or so we are toasty. Then like you we have a 16kW WBS in case the ice age returns

As an aside, I often think and reflect on how nice it is to be still sitting around the campfire, In the light. Last week I was saying how ye doing to amputee stroke victims instead of walking past them blanking them and yesterday I was sitting with my fave Aunt who isn't there anymore due to dementia.

Only six zones, I've got 12, well it made sense 20 years ago when I installed it all

But it does mean all radiators do have their own feed pipes from two different locations, not so sure about the returns, something I need to work out/remember.

Here's a wee bit showing flow rate and f/r temps. House was at 18.3 heating to 19 and heat curve was set at 0.25. WBS not on so upped the curve to 0.3. 12 degs outdoors.

What about the hot water circuit, that should have a bleed valve in it too.

Looks like aav's fitted, topped up system to 1.9bar. Will see what the company say tomorrow, mail sent. I'm not cracking fittings today!
