Lots of it, but not enough, not quickly enough.

So frustrating that many delays relate to permitting, but I appreciate grid upgrade issues apply too.
Across Europe there are some 500GW of potential wind energy waiting for an assessment of grid applications.
That's impressive, just going to assume most is on-shore and assume a weighted average capacity factor of 30%, giving us the equivalent of ~150GW of generation.

Looks like we have most of the pieces now, just need to get them into the game.
8.7kWp PV [2.12kWp SSW + 4.61kWp ESE PV + 2.0kWp WNW PV]
Two BEV's.
Two small A2A heatpumps.
20kWh Battery storage.

It takes days to slap in a connection application even before planning and finance etc. It takes yrs to build the infrastructure - thats the real world.

How many of these people waiting for a grid connection actually have something to connect ? There will be a lot of gaming going on, get the ball rolling and then sell to someone at an easy profit. That is what this country has come too playing the system with no intention of doing some hard graft. These days more than half the money is spent before a spade touches the ground!

26 GW in the UK onshore wind pipeline but only 1 GW is under construction !
