They told me it was halted as there was a "small issue of back billing". :?

They are going to look into it and I also mentioned about the cheap rate slots not showing on my account since 12th Feb. They said the only issue they had heard of in the last week was a screw up on Tesla's for an hour on one day.

They are going to check my account this afternoon, check my billing from the 12th and get back to me with an update later. :norfolk:

I have a response from Octopus,

First they have approved my £1k refund after doing two adjustments for the back billing, the first was to credit me 6p and the second was to credit me -4p which means I'm 2p better off.

More importantly,

"I also took a look at your billing since the 12th of February, and everything appears to be in line with what I would expect. There’s minimal to no usage on the peak rate, with the majority of your usage coming through at the cheaper rate. You’ll see a detailed breakdown on your next statement."

So I reckon we are OK as my online account since the 12th is still showing roughly a 50% split in kWh's between cheap and peak rate. :xx:

I'm liking the fact that Octopus EXPECT me to have minimal to no usage on the peak rate.

Givenergy's / Octopus' control of my battery is still corrupted. It has settled down to charging up to 78% (but to day it is at 89%) from midnight then freezing. All the house load comes from (and surplus solar goes to) the grid until 2.30 pm, when it wakes up and feeds the house until midnight... No cheap rate import, no drawing from or pv boosting of the batt during the first 1/2 of the day... It's costing me!

So far I have had warm words from the 2 organisations but nothing better. I think all this started at the Savings session on 12/2 when I guess their Intelligent Flux tariff tried to take part on behalf of the customer, but they a) didn't allow for non Intelligent customers and b) made a major cock-up in linking the systems.
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!
