How efficient are your oldest panels?

Modern panels are so cheap that it is worthwhile swapping them out! I've heard of 2kWp arrays being switched out for 4kWp. Taking advantage of both better efficiency and covering more of the roof...
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

A good question, the oldest are coming up for 7 years (fit set up) and are 19% if I remember correctly. I really couldn't be bothered scrambling about on the incline. My Wombles ethos says they have a lot to yet give!

Vanport has commenced with ground broken. It's basically going to be a bigger version of the bootroom. 6mtr x 5mtr with a 3 mtr uncovered courtyard type deal at the front.

The materials list is out for quote on the secondhand, cash market.

I would imagine that if you catch it at the right time double digit readings would be possible.

Still thinking about it as whether to do the lot or just some.

Don't worry, as it a FITS you can't do it yourself without losing the FITS payment, You'd need to use an MCS installer, it's even possible to now increase the size of a FITS system and the payments would be pro-rated.
