Great night in Belfast last night. Highly recommended 👌

On the run down to Glasgow we discussed the upcoming downstairs bathroom overhaul. The whole lot is coming out including the floor so even a chubber like me should be able to get under the floor to insulate what needs doing underfloor in rest of house.

Got my forever watch, traded in my old one against it. A 3 year wait but I've got it now and No1 son can inherit down the road. I hope the new owner enjoys my old one as much as i did. Also placed an order quite spontaneously for an upgrade for swmbo. Will be coming back over in the van for a tour soon. Ireland is excellent!

No battery to dispose of, old unit relifed as will this one hopefully many healthy years hence.

Day off from Vanport..A bit of rain & cooler today so a gentle firing of the WBS and a pasta sauce stove based cook session. Bonny rainbow too later in the day. :xl:

Good to feel the frame rigidity ramp up today. That's the top done, everything is screwed and bolted to within a mm of it's life.

Spray treated for insects & rot too. Might have a crack at a length of roof sheeting tomorrow. That x lam effect will take it straight into 80mph+ proof. A truly excellent day! :D

Thank you! Hoping to try for a couple of sheets tomorrow. It was nice to.have the workbench dragged into the centre and just working away. Away to order a couple of solar PIR sensor lights for the casual evening walk through.

There's at least 700 screws holding it together. Mad though that figure seems. Also about 15 of M8 rods too.

I'm reasonably confident that I've lined everything up to pick up.on the original drill holes in the relifed roofing. :xl:

Excellent morning. Vanport is officially a dry working space! Amazing how much area the sheets quickly cover. Didn't particularly enjoy getting them up there solo.

The strength the corrugated sheet shape gives is absolutely immense. Happily walking about up there.

Two sheets left over which I'll use towards the rear now I've seen it in situ and also for a sidescreen at the side at front. Plenty, plenty and miles to go but it's nice to be here at this wee milestone. :D

I think I'll have an area tidy to celebrate and let the old bod bounce back a bit. :surrender:
