Balancer getting installed in IP rated joint box

Balancer model ripped off from Nowty’s recent built, IP box eBay, 32mm kopex and 1.5mm singles leftovers..

2 going in one for each bank, appreciate they can be paralleled up but I’m going one per bank
Any fuses on the lines? How stressed are you about a misidentified cable or an accidental short during installation?

There is no doubt that connecting up the balancer is nerve wracking, lots of tape over every exposed bit is your friend.

An instructional video here, ;)
19.6kW PV > 114MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 34MWh generated

Inline fuses will be at the battery end, have ferruled each cable as I made each one and when the pcb connector is terminated to be 100 percent each cable is correct I will bell each one out as a precaution before I crimp/terminate onto the battery pack( still boxed)

Still waiting on self adhesive pcb stand off to arrive and another 16 inline fuses, plus still waiting on G99 approval…
Just a wee bit at a time due to other projects

Confirmation that my G99 has been received 30 days after sending it to them and confirming with the person at the other end, and now another 35 days to wait!

2nd loom for balancer made up, just to install, swapped out old garage DB to new version, got some trunking in ready for hybrid install and seeing 12kWh coming into this system which is encouraging..

Fence nearly finished, away to measure up and insulate dormer ceiling, cheek walls.. to get another first floor bedroom insulated.

Have you had a nod or a wink that it might be approved? Or is there a risk that after 65 days they will just say "No?"
I am wondering whether to go this way, but don't want to get my hopes up or do much planning if at the end they just turn you down...

No no info, just installing equipment /trunking based on the larger inverter if I don’t get it will get a 3.6kw and the only issue is I may have oversized an AC Isolator/ Swa cable but I’ve allowed for larger so I don’t have to replace in future.

As I’m time poor, it just lets me crack on with things as and when i can
