Forest post for me on here. I a long time member but in frequent use of the Navitron forum. I can’t believe it’s now gone!
I’m not sure if this is of interest but I’m starting my LifePo4 280AH 48v build for my offgrid home in Wales. Will try and keep you posted

Very nice!

Loads of questions:
- What capacity batteries?
- Where did you source them?
- I’m not familiar with the ballencer/BMS setup there seems to be one on each cell, can you explain?
- I assume they’re charged with solar/generator, ho are you controlling the generator?
- What charge/discharge voltages are you using?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Hello,
Following with interest.

How do these compare on cost with say a Pylontech US3000C which is around £1100 for 3.5kWh of storage? I looked at some LIpoe cells on Aliexpress and its seems like they would be more expensive for the 16 cells than a UK supplied US3000C, and thats without the import duty and VAT on the cells....

maybe I did my math wrong on capacity of the Lipos cells battery????
