Thanks Stinsy . . . . . . I don't think I'll bother with the SS ( much as I would like to help support grid demand, I prefer to give the batteries an easy life ). . . . .

5 kW & 4kW Air-to-Air Mitsubishi Heat Pumps

I've looked through the DFS docs and I cannot find anything obvious about timing except that it seems to be the standard settlement periods. Info from Elexon say's that the settlement periods are in local time, i.e. GMT in GMT times of the year and BST in BST times of the year.

The only thing I can find which I did not previously know is a clock change day is another of those days which is ignored for baseline calculation.

I would not be surprised if Octopus have fecked up or doing it on purpose. :surrender:

EDIT - I cannot believe they are doing it on purpose as they would end up paying a large penalty for under delivery.

First saving session since batteries installed.

Just export as much as possible during the hour?
Depending on the size of your inverter and battery, you may end up importing at peak rate later in the evening, if that's the case, then depending on your tariff it may not be worth it.

I'm not at all sure that the Saving Sessions calculator is using the correct dates for baseline calculation (it's including dates that included DFS sessions)

Feck, I’m up north at my mums.

I’ll be constrained to 3kW export or only 1.5kWh over the 30 mins.
