Different sort of evening, not much wind & roasting! 19 degs outdoors.

Upper floor @ 21.35hrs

Upper floor was locked off at doors & windows. Interested to see what it drops to by 22.05hrs.

Edit-
22.05hrs, 2.5 deg drop in 30 mins. That'll do.

Overnight outdoors dipped to 11.7degs and rain overnight.

Upper floor 21.8 degs

Image

Lower floor 20 degs

Image

1 deg drop lower floor and 0.4 deg rise Upper floor . 0.063 deg drop per hour. Holy jamoley!! :)

That result is significantly better than I hoped for. I do have hopes for going forward May to September with ashp off for air heating. That might not seem much but up here it would be nothing short of a miracle (of insulation products). :D

The one thing I am going to have to give up is a Top SCOP figure. I won't have the balance of the daily air heating efficiency runs to compensate for the comparatively lower daily COP figures generated by water heating for the water nymph on her return to base.

Essentially we are out beyond what COP & SCOP signify (an efficient system). Since install we are seeing COP of about 6.0 to 6.5 for air heating and 2.4 to 2.85 for DHW

Here's where we are since system commissioned. By chance we are very close to the 6 month mark since commissioning so I can say 2.75MWh of power in half a year.
.
As I intend to keep the export going I should see the difference on a relatively even basis in count across the next 6 months for the 3G influence.

Image

Looks like a dull day here today in reality and forecast. This will be a good example of what the home can now do in less than optimal conditions for retaining heat and generating power. I've switched off export for the moment and we'll just let it all run. :praise:

What a miserable day! Home did well though, 0.2 deg drop across 9 hours with 11.8 degs outdoors. I'll see how it goes overnight.

Image

Home ran itself well and increased the stack soc. I'll dump it to grid soon. Still about 1.5kW incoming.

Image

Final touch at the 3G and I hope it's hard to see?

Damn, you spotted them! Not bad though eh? A little stealth?

Waiting up to 22.30 to see them all activate.

Still raining here. :xl:

Me n No1 Son had our Saturday night steak night. Bollocks to the rain.

Image

Image

Indoors the airfryer did some chips & onion rings.

I took a quick look at the lounge gauge after the meal.

Image

All kidding aside, that's 0.5 deg lift in a 35 sq mtr room off cooking some chips. I have NOT seen that behaviour before.

Truly, no bull, that's a changed environment right there. Like Stinsy said "non primary heat sources will have an impact". OK I'm paraphrasing but he did alude to this and I didn't take it seriously. Apologies Stinsy. :xl:

They blend in pretty well.

No rain today, but one hell of a thunderstorm last night, even had some local flooding.

An odd moment when the blinds all kicked in together. Certainly jumped.

Image

The blinds are blackout but no insulation properties beyond their inherent build. Top light above patio doors left open as they are now privacy blinds only.

Image

Once the left hand trapezoidal has been replaced we'll be able to book in the installers and finish with the sloped Vert blinds.

No rain during the day yesterday, or last night, not in our little corner of the south east anyway. Just shy of 80 kWh generated and 82 exported yesterday.
