V2L for any EV?
V2L for any EV?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Skimmed the 20 minute video for 5 minutes, interesting product hopefully others will come out soon

Maybe V2G versions?

Re: V2L for any EV?
I know there's someone who has wired CCS2 DC lines to a grid coupled high voltage battery inverter. He then uses a powerline modem which is coupled between the DC side and an Arduino to tell the car to close the CCS2 contactors in the same way this V2L device does. Seems to work fine. There's a YouTube video of his (somewhat untidy) setup.

Re: V2L for any EV?
Cool gadget. Slightly limiting you have to go into service mode to force the car to do things though. Wonder if you have to do similar things with other EV brands?

The simplicity makes a mockery of the fact you cannot buy a VTG charging point!SimonSays wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 11:30 am I know there's someone who has wired CCS2 DC lines to a grid coupled high voltage battery inverter. Coming soon to Alliexpess or similar places no doubt.
