US3000C long term
I was going to get a load of US3000C for my new project.I have watched a load of videos by The Off Grid Family on YouTube. They have amongst other things done an amazing set of videos on their Victron based off grid setup which is going to be very similar to my on grid plan.
However, they have had a lot of problems with their US3000C and sounds a little like they slightly regrets their choice. I was wondering if anyone on here has had US3000C batteries and what they have thought about them.

I've ran US2000's now for over 3 years, never had a problem. They alarmed once because of slight overvoltage but that was my fault and they went correctly into protection mode.
I heard on a previous forum someone buying a new duff one and it had to go back but it was replaced with no quibble. Also a couple of reports that when new, they sometimes give some high / low cell voltage errors but that seems to be just the cells balancing and after a few cycles the errors never return.
Tinbum replaced his Lead Acid with a stack of US3000's a few months back and I think he's happy with them.
There is a project in Australia independently testing lithium batteries and the US2000's are one of their best with no issues. As far as I know the US3000's are just like the US2000's but a bit larger.

I'm still doing my setup due to long covid, but have had a few in use over the last few months and have had no problems, so I have a few more due to be delivered on Monday. I found with my Growatt batteries they don't charge when cold so the pylons are going in a dedicated room along with the inverters and chargers. That's being well insulated so should keep the batteries warm enough.
I seen a few people having problems but that normally seems to be due to mixing different types and not doing it in the order recommended in the instructions, not updating older firmware on old batteries to work with newer battery models and not letting the batteries balance before using them.
They seem to have a very good reputation.

As a separate question. Reading the manual it mentions "The distance from air outlet of inverter is more than 0.5 meters.". I can't see any outlet in the diagrams or photos I have seen. Where abouts is it please. I'm trying to work out how big my shed needs to be to house everything.

Their are no vents on the battery.

I wonder what the manual is referring too. I wonder if it is a hangover from the earlier models.

Air outlet OF THE INVERTER!
Some inverters are actively cooled. You don’t want the fan outlet of your inverter blowing directly onto your batteries.
