If there is a foul wind a blowin' then drop by for a chat - about coconuts of anything else off topic.

Demand is already over 42GW and very little wind/solar. Looks like they're cranking Coal to over 3GW, Closed-cycle Gas is at what I guess is it's max of 22GW.

also noteworthy that pumped hydro is showing 5% on gridwatch, other hydro 2%. I've never seen pumped above 2 before.

Current leccy price £4,006 per MWh, so £4 a kWh.

Chicken dinner on with 5p time shifted leccy so Nowty Towers is doing its bit to help the grid.

I suspect another on here will be exporting their agile outgoing at the current £1.27 a kWh rate.

My grid voltage has dropped from its normal 247-248V to 237V.

I bet a few people are experiencing dim bulbs!

Game on George! I continue to be amazed at the masses not 'getting it' or maybe better said as not the confidence to embrace a reality that they can create in their own space? I get so much satisfaction out of living closer to the energy I use rather than at the remote of a grid switch. I think more people would too if communicated properly.

The reason we're in this hole is: there is no wind!

Especially in South Wales, the ironic thing with the delayed switch on is we have lost almost nothing in the last 3 weeks.
