But I bet you haven't spent £50k on a car before...

Up to this point (sobbing pressing the financial send button this morning) the most I have spent on a car was £8,950 for the Leaf. TBH, hadn't given any thought to the correlation between spend and service. Yet my Tesla Model Y had literally no service but was slightly dearer.... I've always believed that the client is prime regardless of the ticket price. Glad I walked away from Tesla, they're not as excellent as they seem to think. Loved the car (M3) and potential of the Y but not the service or V2 or tbh the portrait screen. Blazed a great trail and set the bar though.

Well, the backpack is ready to go. Had a hairy moment yesterday morning when I realised all 3 EV charge cards were neatly stored in a kitchen drawer not the backpack.

Proper place now. Going to aim for the 350's at Gretna(Lancaster if need be) and maybe Perth too. Have a paper backup copy of the 50's locations if I need them. Train tonight at 21.45. I'll post a couple photos tomorrow when I collect, this feels surreal! :)

Have fun Joeboy, and don't pretend you're playing Tron on the way back, those 90d turns may test you.

Imagine, what a laugh we'd all have! :). A long time since I've done a nightrun on a train. Looking forward to it!

Thanks Mart I've still to track down good copies of star wars pod racer effects so ill be ok. Tomorrow will be a genuine 60mph run up the road as I want to know straight off what i'm dealing with for longer runs. Next time I do a long run it will be to 🇫🇷 . If I see good miles tomorrow in 10degs I have no worries.

All 90 degrees turns will be avoided! :)

Exciting times.

My iD4 is due to be built this week (having originally been scheduled for week 42 2021). I'm waiting until Monday before I phone the dealer and get the bad news...

I want regular updates!
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)
