Nah, each panel is quite small and this one is double glazed, not triple as its in a normally unheated spare room. :D

Well, not quite, the heavy part this time is the PVC frame so I am waiting on SWMBO to come home from work.

We put in a much larger one a few years back for the Lounge window. We rested it on two wheelie bins, then located the bottom edge on the windowsill, then rotated it in by pushing the top of the frame upwards with two fence posts with a V shaped notch at the end. It was one of those jobs where you wish you never started but once the old window was out, there's no going back.

Its in with the help of SWMBO. :D

Cannot believe the difference in temp outside once the sun went behind the houses, it went from baking hot to freezing cold in minutes.

Very good quality glass! You can hardly tell there is any in there!

12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Yes it’s a bitterly cold wind out today despite the sunshine- another brilliant solar day though 11.28kWh on the main and 1.54kWh for the mobile array.
