Epic, cracking bit of news to come home to. On the take up of Kirkhill, I can see X amount of turbines going ahead with funds raised to date and maybe a loan to cover the remainder.

The majority of the population will be feeling the squeeze of post covid price rises across the board and may not have the luxury of buying into something that won't benefit for a couple of years. Im sure it will all work out.

Know little about Ripple so excuse the question if its already covered.......

The new Windmill thing is now connected and "in testing" but (if I read it correctly) doesn't go live for investors until April.

So, who gets the money from the power generated during testing ?

I think it starts generating asap and our returns start to notch up, then in April we get a credit on our bill for March's generation and so on... (those of us who paid in before it closed in Sept 2021.)

Good point Nowty, do we know who the co-investor is? I've recently done the proving paperwork to show legitimate use of excess power. Might be able to squeak another couple of hundred quid in before the 28th March but that's about it. As I scrolled past the previous posts i looked at the yellow grid connection light and thought 'light at the end of the tunnel? BOOM BOOM!!

Landlord, we think the meter is set from revolution 1 but we won't know until the April results come through for Month of March. As the turbine is due to spin for at least 25 years I won't be grudging them the commissioning power to say for example, run their lunchtime scaletrix races and microwave popcorn. :)
