Interesting read - they don't mention what happens to the oxygen that they produce? and annoyingly they still insist that most of the hydrogen they require will have to come from steam reformed natural gas - how is that ever going to be beneficial to the environment ?
As usual this feels like an attempt to maintain the status quo of "us" paying "them" bundles of cash for something which we could do ourselves on a smaller potentially more efficient scale, that said I still get the chill when they discuss high volumes of hydrogen in any sort of network - industrially made and stored to run a gas turbine powered electric generator unit maybe but domestic feels like a recipe for disaster.
We've all seen a house blown apart by a natural gas leak and explosion, same volume of hydrogen would take out the houses either side as well as the houses opposite as a minimum.
