Encouraged by discussions here and elsewhere I dipped my toe in the Arduino pool for my last year's Christmas present... a beginners kit is not expensive and there are loads of tutorials on YouTube etc. (eg

I'm running a 14 channel Iotawatt monitor http://iotawatt.com all local, has it's own web server but will also out put to open cms or influx database etc. I have it sending data to Home Assistant at the moment. Never neat setup.

They are always out of stock though.

I expect they are experiencing the same electronics supply chain problems as most others are, when I've bought from them in the past it's been delivery next day most times.
