Tomorrow looks particularly challenging according to the octopus email for charging EVs

Are they asking you to hold off if you can?
Being Friday (with presumably lower demand in sight the next day) it would be the ideal time to draw down V2G from those people not planning on going out and recharge them over the weekend. Perhaps a double bonus for exporting at crisis times - but then isn't that what Agile does anyway?
Is a premium being offered?

Yes and yes.

In fact if it turns out to be another £4 / kWh payout its actually worth it paying peak rate.
Any amount over £3.05 / kWh will work out better if your on IOG at 30.5p peak.
