17:30 to 18:30 tomorrow (Mon) for the absence of doubt, so the in day adjustment period will be 13:30 to 16:30. That will be tough as its forecast to be sunny here, so may be competing against the incoming solar to get enough grid import. Was hoping for an early one before the sun comes up.

250MW requirement so can guarantee Octopus will be in it, otherwise won't make anywhere near the target.

I'm going to cancel all tonight's cheapslot import and let the house cool down until 13:30, EV's at 49% so plenty of headroom there too.
SWMBO is going to help by doing some ironing tonight (to drain more off my home battery) and delaying a 50 degree washing load for tomorrow.

Fleece on at breakfast time tomorrow.

National Grid has specified the time interval 17:30 to 18:30 for the demand flexibility event tomorrow evening Monday 13th Feb.

Opting in to Octopus is now open for the 17:30 to 18:30 saving session and remember to check you are opted in. I recommend after opting in, you log out and then log back in again and check your opted in status.

Its the standard pay out this time at £2.25 / kWh as the octopus won an average bid of £3.00 / kWh.

The all important "in day adjustment" window will start at 13:30 and finish at 16:30.

Octopus seem to have quite a lot of their bids rejected (2/3), too high a price.

They always do that, I think its a no brainer for them, i.e. nothing to lose.

A better spot prize for tomorrows session.

🔥 🔥 MEGA PRIZE: one opted-in customer wins a HEAT PUMP (or £4,000) 🔥 🔥

Another HP at Nowty Towers  , I'd probably have to opt for the 400% SOC increase on the VB.

On my account it shows: "Tomorrow for 1 hour between GMT". The same message is on app and website.

13.30hrs it is. Cheers! Brains completely fuct at the moment, a second suicide in the associated family on Friday (SWMBO's sisters ex husband), the same sister who's partner killed himself before Xmas, SWMBO went over with her sister Friday night as not answering his phone.. luckily swmbo stopped 1 door away from where he was hanging and called the cops. Daughters relationship ended on Friday too so I'm starting to buy a new town apartment in Edinburgh tomorrow morning after being down to view yesterday and collect her. Its a very nice place, putting it in daughter & No1's names. Flying to Turkey Tuesday for No1son eye ops to be completed. Just back from mil's house this evening, not answering phone so thought she was dead too. Turns out her landlines dead as was her mobile. That at least is a result. Apart from that,it's real quiet.....

Thank you for asking, 8-) Cant of a couple of months....
