Sept 22= £1728/14= £123.40 per kWh added storage.
Jan 23 Docan = £1341/15= £89.40 per kWh added storage.
Jan 23 Deriy = £1,259/15 with one spare battery = £83.93 per kWh added storage.

That's a 32% drop in per kWh price from Sept 22 to Jan 23. Yoicks!
Are those prices really from last year or have you forgotten we started a new one on 1st January
Look I'm busy. I'm heading to Spain... :hysteria:

Cheers, edited.

It turns out that we can still name our pole. V3 double or M6..

I will stay with M6 as first set with this fitted, has not been a problem.

Just waiting for confirmation that 16 ftom Poland is cheaper than 15 from China.

Hi Joe. If there is an economy of scale with costs I’d be happy to mirror your order if you wanted.

I’ve just got a question to ask eon of implications as their terms say you need to notify them of any extra battery installs. I’m leaving octopus as they won’t support my smets 1 meter on IOG :(

We’re in the same boat - smets1, trying to get IOG. I tweeted @Octopus, and they said they will upgrade our meter to a smets2. Fingers crossed!

I asked NKON as they are a good EU based supplier and a few other China based suppliers that had 'EU stock', but since Brexit none would ship to the UK. :(

The Deriy and Colin's prices are some of the cheapest, and the train is probably a good bet at the moment! If you want the V3 in A grade from any seller make sure it is the octagonal post, (if it isn't it won't be latest V3) ask for the factory test report and to see pictures. Some sellers are now re-lasering the QR code with black lettering and a white background, but EVE only lasers white lettering directly on the aluminium case. - If so it could still be a 280k V3 but will be a B grade, and that can be for many reasons.

I can't see a reason not to go for the double post version!? - Fully laser welded large contact area to cell, larger busbar contact area, double screw, so one can be for balance leads and one for torqueing the busbar. Better re-sale value when the next best battery tech comes along.. (But, did you mention making them parallel config with current bank? then that's a reason, but I'd just get another BMS and run as a separate bank)

Here's a re-lasered 280K V3 B grade, being sold as A grade:

They should look more like this:

38m Barge, Solar (10.6 kWp), 26 kWh of LFP, Victron Quattro 8 kVA, CerboGX, 3,500L STP, 57kVa Perkins

That is a lot of excellent info Al, cheers!

They will be running as a parallel stack. If I buy 16 I'll have one spare that can slot anywhere in the 30. I've not had any heating issues with the M6 single bolt fixing. 8-)

Andy, I'll politely decline if that's OK? I don't think there would be much better discount for larger shipment?

That’s ok. I was wondering after reading through the thread, you mention that sometimes the eve batteries are the only ones providing the power as various voltages are passed. Does that still happen after the initial balancing? I’ve quite a large inverter and that would mean a lot of current (187 amps) through one set of cables to the eve extension whilst waiting for the pylon tech to join in again. At the moment I have it set up for 47 amps per pair of pylontech on the original cables.
