Thanks all for the comments. In fact at his stage I just have the inverter (+batt and pv) installed between the smart meter and the house DB, so the only thing which can be done wrong is my instruction to the inverter.

I was wondering whether I should start a GivEnergy thread as it seems that we might have a "special interest" group here. Yes? Or leave the topics and comments scattered through other threads like this one? (I don't really want to get involved in another forum, but I guess there is probably a Giv owners one. We seem to get more intelligent and better-informed help here than some of the things I have heard of on places like e.g. the Ripple one!)

It doesn’t look like many, if any, users post on the GivEnergy forum linked to the dashboard.
This forum seems the best place for info in my experience. I often wonder if most of the posters are qualified electricians :hysteria:
Of course, I remove myself from that level of competence :surrender:

Probably worth starting a separate thread dedicated to your GivEnergy complexity!

Plus one - makes it easier for folk with or considering that tech and for the rest of us it’s still an interesting read 👍🏼

That is a stunning effort.
My worst performance, hampered by being a heat pump down for 2 weeks, but also concentrating more on 5:30-6:30 baseline time.
On the flip side the replacement heat pump is working like a dream albeit I can’t really gauge how well as it’s pretty mild at the moment

I'm frothing at the mouth looking at Wednesday's forecast. ;)
Possible live session ? :xx:

Cold (except far south), feck all wind and still two Nuke plants out of action. :?

And edging into negative generating surplus territory. :fan:

Would be nice to get some proper sessions, and presumably they'll pay more.

I earned £13.35 last session, which means fifth place at the moment. Unfortunately I cant import during peak times, it wouldn't be cost effective.

Could be good timing if my extra battery install goes to plan on Tuesday.
An extra 7kwh of export and 2 days to get my baseline up :oO:

Heads up. ;)

Thats a later time to publish if its going ahead, similar to the 19th Dec test session, so looks like a double secret "In Day 2" session, i.e. with very short notice.
Stay tuned for further instructions.
