Moxi wrote: Mon Aug 12, 2024 8:32 am I'm just wondering if the problem is the depth of discharge figure?

Looking at the screen you have said "I want to be able to discharge 80% of the battery" BUT what if the logic is written so that 80% discharge means only 20% of the battery is used ? so then the inverter tries to start charging a battery that's 80% full at 50Amps which fires up the overvault alarm as the BMS requires a lower amperage above the 80% point?

If you set the DoD to 20% will it then charge at 50 amps without fault?

I'm probably way off the mark but thought I would mention it.

Its not Moxi, I have one.

Only thing I can think of is drop the charge voltage down a touch to 58V or even 57V and see if that helps.
Cheers Nowty,

I had to ask as on my Solis its 20% and I would have felt silly if I hadn't mentioned it just in case.

Stay with it Grumpy, the forum hive mind doesn't often fail.

Yes,
It looks as if you haven't changed your settings from default.

You have COV set at 3.6v which equates to 57.6v so the BMS will turn off at that voltage.

Your 'continued' charge current is 25A.

Your UTPR and UTP are also incorrect.

That explains it even more.

is this what the bms is set to receive and will not accept above that figure
does this mean i have to up the continued charge current figure
